Deirde Dransfield - Autism Spectrum Disorders Consultant

The major role of the Autism Consultant is to assist districts in providing an appropriate education to all children identified as having Autism Spectrum Disorders ( ASD ).

Consultant activities include assisting districts in the development and implementation of appropriate educational programs and services for students with ASD, providing training and on-site consultation for teachers of children with ASD, and provision of consultation and information to school district staff and parents regarding ASD.
