Bridget Stephens - Behavior Management Consultant

The primary responsibility of the Behavior Management Consultant is building school district capacity to deal with behavioral issues. Assistance is provided to schools to develop and implement a broad range of systemic and individualized strategies for guiding students in achieving important social and academic outcomes while preventing problem behaviors.

The Behavior Management Consultant provides technical support and training to school district personnel to develop their capacity to educate students with behavior problems. The Consultant works closely with Local District Coordinators, Special Education Supervisors and teachers to assist with the development of Individualized Education and Behavior Management Plans. The Consultant may be available for classroom observation either for general classroom discipline problems or for individual students who may be experiencing difficulties. This assistance is typically provided after the district has exhausted their resources in dealing
with a concern.
